Job Description

SparkBeyond is seeking an ambitious Data Scientist to join our client facing team to deliver outstanding value to our customers. Candidates will have proven experience in leading delivery of end to end technical solutions while working alongside client teams. Reporting to a regional team lead, you will be responsible for a portfolio of customers, each at a different stage of their analytical journey with a high level of autonomy in how you approach them. Our focus is to use our skills to highlight the potential of SparkBeyond’s core product (the discovery platform) and how it can transform problem solving for our customers.

What will you do?

Support Empower customers to solve, build and create value from SparkBeyond Discovery Platform deployed within customers' tech stack across Industries (BFSI,Energy, and more.).
Deliver business value by translating complex data into meaningful insights.
Manage a portfolio of customers simultaneously and be able to prioritize your work accordingly
Be the face of the company and the product directly interfacing with our customers around the globe.
Partner with our customers’ Data Science teams, helping them optimize their use of SparkBeyond’s Discovery Platform.
Work directly with our in-house team of the brightest minds in technology, research and mathematics as well as senior interfaces from leading companies across the globe (fortune 500 companies and many others).
Use your analytical skills and deep product understanding to support our customers and provide them with advice and input of the highest quality.

What will you need?

7 -8 + years of relevant experience in Data Science
3- 4 + years of experience within Banking, Insurance, Cards or Fintech business
Customer facing experience and excellent presentation and communication skills
Proven experience in translating business challenges into data pipelines & model framework
Experience in developing end-to-end machine learning solutions, from scoping through to productionisation
Programming skills in Python that allow you to be self-sufficient in handling data
Cloud computing (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Experience with large datasets and distributed computing Databricks / Spark

Nice-to-haves

Top tier Consulting (Big 4) or Top 5 Analytics Consulting firm
MS/PhD in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Bioinformatics or another quantitative field or equivalent
Programming skills other than Python (SQL, Scala, Java, etc)
