Head of QA

What will you do?

• Lead and manage the QA organisation, including Manual, Automation, and Internal Data Science engineers.
• Lead the KPIs plan and implement Quality KPI
• Quality Guild Manager, direct the development of QA methodology, discipline, and framework.
• Define and implement methodologies and practices to improve quality
• Own and drive test automation techniques and tools: mentor, execute, and provide leadership to the QA automation engineers in all teams.
• Promote Quality Perception and understanding within the organisation, and assist in embedding Quality awareness and capabilities within the R&D organisation.
• Monitor and Maintain Shift-Left methodology across R&D.
• Drive and improve the QA team in areas of automated testing and agile testing.

What will you need?

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Proven experience with direct management and working through matrix management (achieve collaboration and progress without authority or ownership of resources)
• Hands-on experience as an automation/software engineer leading the development of core automation/product components
• Proven experience in QA of at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Scala, Python, or C#
• 5+ years of experience in the field of software product Quality Assurance
• Proven experience in working on a multi-services product operated with CI / CD methodologies
• Highly organised, able to follow up on many complicated tasks in parallel, interfacing with many varied technical stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and ability to motivate, hire and retain top talent
• Strong leadership skills and ability to build and drive teams of experts and highly experienced engineers.
• Experience with testing and automating quality of AI / ML-based products- advantage
