Job Description

What will you do?

  • Own the customer success space in APAC
  • Shape the tools and materials needed to onboard new customers and ensure their success
  • Work with our global teams on adapting existing training and certification materials for our market
  • Partner with our Data Scientists on how to shape analytics problems to be best suited for our platform
  • Understand & collect the users’ needs of the product & develop the voice of the user within the company

What will you need?

The following is what  a data scientist is expected to bring to the table - if you lack some of the background but still believe that you’re the right fit for the role, let us know why.
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience - must have experienced the difference between a real world analytics problem and an academic / kaggle exercise
  • A knack for teaching, mentoring and speaking. Upskilling our users through demonstrations, documentation or dialogue must be something you thrive in
  • University degree in a quantitative field - higher degrees are welcome
  • Experience with Machine Learning techniques (classification, regressions, feature engineering etc.)
  • Programming experience in a data-related language - ideally Python, but R & SQL are welcome, too
  • Exposure to other advanced analytics software (e.g., Alteryx, RapidMiner, Dataiku) is welcome but not essential

We are also open to candidates based in Melbourne.
